Dublin: first day

Museums are closed on Monday!  But that still left us plenty to do.  We attended a noon-time Eucharist at St. Anne's.
Ireland is famous as for its literary history.  There are many monuments, and house plaques celebrating where authors lived.  Here's a colorful statue of Oscar Wilde.
The National Gallery of Art was open on Mondays.  We sympathized with this boy, who also seemed to have sore feet.

We then visitied Trinity College and the Book of Kells (no photos allowed).  The cavernous old library has busts of many Important People.  Here's William Hamilton, a famous mathematician/physicist.

We walked around a bit before returning to our hotel.  Here's the Spire, and the Hapenny Bridge.
